WORKING DISTANCE:- It is a distance between the upper layer of the object and the lower layer of objective lens through which the clear image is seen.

RESOLVING POWER:- It is the ability of a microscope to separate the distinctly small elements which are closer to each other.

MAGNIFICATION POWER:- It is defined as magnitude of magnifying power of objective lens and the magnification power of eye piece.
